People are kind
My empirical observations while cycle touring confirm people are innately kind. My hypothesis is that societal requirements and dictates get in the way of that fundamental human behaviour, putting other values above kindness.
Illusions of normality
Humans are more adaptable than they think they are. When travelling, wherever I am, what’s happening quickly starts to seem normal. This makes sense as living in a constant state of stress would be impossible. Will COVID start to feel normal soon?
